Chinese Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Programme The Chinese Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Programme is jointly conducted by Workforce Development Agency (WDA) and KLC School of Education (KLC). This course is conducted with an aim to equip participants the ability to use Mandarin in the course of work. Participants will be able to progress to different levels based on their assessed Mandarin competency at the end of each programme. Aims and Objectives of Course This course aims to: - Use mandarin to communicate proficiently with business partners or customers;
- Interpret various types of work-related information (technical information,emails,graphs,reports);
- Write business correspondences and reports at the advanced level

(Course revision in progress) *All participants are required to sit for the Business Chinese Test (BCT 1,2&3 components) and Chinese Numeracy Test in order to evaluate their language proficiency levels Pre-Course Assessment Interested participants are required to sit for the Business Chinese Test (BCT) and the Chinese Numeracy Test (CNT) prior to their enrolment in order to evaluate their existing language competency and determine their appropriate course entry level. The BCT is an international vocational-based Chinese assessment test developed by The Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban, Beijing) designed to measure Chinese language proficiency of non-native speakers. Time of Classes Weekday evenings, 7pm-10pm, one lesson per week Award of Certificate Upon successful completion of the programme, and a minimum of 75% attendance, participants will be awarded Certificate of Attendance by KLC School of Education.
