Dr Jane Ching-Kwan (CEO / Executive Director) | Dr Jane Ching-Kwan is a leader in Singapore's early childhood education scene. She has been in the field in its early days since the mid-1980s and has visited and lectured in several countries including US, China, Australia and Malaysia. From 2003-2005, she was Vice-President of the Association for Early Childhood Educators Singapore (AECES).Dr Jane Ching-Kwan has a Ph.D. in Child Development & Family Studies with a specialisation in Children and Technology. She has a Masters of Science in Education in the area of Early Childhood Education. Dr Jane currently spends her time consulting to preschool curriculum implementation, and actively serves the community by being in task force groups related to improving the quality of early childhood education and training. She remains an active trainer in the field for diploma & degree programs. | Dr Agnes Chang Shook Cheong (Principal / Academic Director) | Dr Agnes Chang holds a Ph.D. from Macquarie University and M Ed from the University of Singapore. She is effectively bi-lingual and has been in teacher education for 35 years after retiring from National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University as Associate Professor in June 2010. Dr Agnes was appointed the Associate Dean for the Postgraduate Diploma in Education Programme at NIE from June 2000 to June 2003. From 1999 to 2003, Dr Chang was voted in as the President of the Singapore Educational Research Association. She has been invited to serve as editor to six International Journals on Education and Thinking. Besides undertaken various consultancy work in Singapore, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, USA and Malaysia, Dr Chang is currently serving as member on the Board of External Examiner to BA (Hons) Primary Programme at Hong Kong Institute of Education and University of Warwick Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education Programme.
| Dr Ellen Chen Shi (Deputy Director / Assistant Director - Academic) | Dr Ellen Chen Shi holds a Ph.D. in Education Management and Arts from Jinan University, China; a master degree in Education from HuaZhong Normal University and a Bachelor in Education degree from Beijing Normal University. She has more than 20 years of teachers training experiences and has served as a standing secretary of Zhuhai Family Education Association and secretary of GuangDong Preschool Education Professional Association. She is also a member of China Preschool Education Research Association and Singapore Association For Early Childhood Educators (AECES)'s Executive Committee Member.
Dr Ellen has done several research studies in areas of Education, Psychological, education management, literature and history. She also participated, organized and hosted many country level research topics in China and Singapore. An expert in Early Childhood Education, Dr Ellen has actively contributed and presented several influential articles in many publications in China. | Ms Marion Mony (English Dept Head, Division of Early Childhood & Special Needs) | 
Marion Mony holds a Masters in Early Childhood Education from James Cook Univerisity, Australia and a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Studies from University of Melbourne, Australia. She has worked in the early childhood field in Singapore since 1990 as a teacher, principal, trainer, field supervisor, and curriculum specialist. Having worked with children from eighteen months to six years of age, Marion has developed a strong pedagogy in working with young children. Her classroom experience lends practicality and creativity to curriculum development and training of teachers. A strong believer in forming partnerships with parents, she has worked closely with them to identify and meet the needs of individuals and families. From her experience with people of different ages and diverse backgrounds, she has developed good leadership skills in the leading, mentoring, and counseling of teachers; motivating and empowering them to bring out their potential in teaching young children. | Mr James Ling Jian (Chinese Dept Head, Division of Early Childhood & Special Needs) | 
James holds a Masters of Education Administration from National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and a double degree in Bachelor of Law & Science from Huazhong Normal University, China. He is an examiner of Putonghua examination as well as a lecturer for HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi)/Chinese Language, program management and teaching of Chinese Language in early childhood context. He has many years of teaching experience in China university as well as education administration management. He was also the head of several departments in his universities such as Psychological & Counselling centre, Career Guidance Centre and Teaching & Research department. He is also involved in developing course curriculum, teaching materials and educational CDs and videos. He has contributed several articles in the area of education psychology and education management & research and comparative education between Singapore and China.
| Dr Chen Qi (Chinese Language Dept Head, Division of Languages) | Dr Chen Qi holds a Ph.D. in Chinese Language with Fudan University, China; Political Science and the Political Economics degree from Northwest Political Science & Law University, China and a Master of Business Administration from Nanjing University.
Dr Chen Qi has many years of tertiary experiences having lectured at Jiang Nan University for eight years and is currently a lecturer with Crestar Education Group since 1996. She is also a member of the The International Society for Chinese Language Teaching.

Belinda Seet holds a Masters in Education and a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Studies from University of Melbourne, Australia. She also possesses a postgraduate diploma in professional counseling from Swinburne University, Australia and a Certificate in Play Therapy Skills from Australia. Belinda has also attained Licentiate Diplomas in the teaching of Speech and Drama as well as Public Speaking from the London College of Music. She started her work in the Early Childhood Field in 1980 as a teacher before becoming a principal, a field supervisor, a mentor and a trainer. Belinda has also conducted several training programmes for foreign educators under the SCP of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Singapore. She has also worked with Regional Trainers to develop early childhood programmes in their countries. Belinda’s other professional experiences include speech training, teaching drama and creative writing in various preschools, primary and secondary schools. She has also engaged in storytelling at Bookstores, libraries, hospitals and various schools in Singapore and Melbourne. Belinda’s interest in the Arts has also led her to work closely with parents to identify play strategies that would foster children’s thinking and creative development. |
