The KLC School of Education ( KLC )  was established in 1988. It is a well-known institution in teacher education with extensive experiences in nurturing many cohorts of different education programmes in both Chinese and English media.

Programmes include Certificate, Diploma and Professional Development in Early Childhood Education and Chinese Language Studies. The Early Childhood Education programmes are recognized by MOE and MCYS for teaching certification . As part of KLC’s upgrading and expansion, it has collaborated with the Beijing Normal University to offer the Bachelor Degree in Education Programme from 2003. Currently, KLC is actively expanding its range of programmes in many new directions such as short courses like the English Language for Foreign Students, Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) Preparatory, Workplace Chinese Literacy and Creative Dance Pedagogy. 

KLC students are equipped with the professional skills for their career readiness. Our students are exposed to wide ranging global perspectives and practice-oriented learning approaches.
