Full-Time Diploma In Early Childhood Care & Education - Teaching (DECCE-TC)The full-time Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education-Teaching-Chinese (DECCE-TC) is designed to prepare aspiring teachers and teachers of young children for the early childhood field. It aims to provide the basis for effective teaching of and interaction with young children through a thorough examination of both the theoretical and practical knowledge of child development at a higher level. Aims and objectives of course The objectives of the course are to - Enable participants to transfer educational and child development theories into practices, which provide wide-ranging, multimedia and developmentally appropriate experiences to young children;
- Enable participants to be skilful in their role of observation, and apply their knowledge of child development to design learning environments that meet the needs of individual children;
- Present to participants a variety of pre-school approaches which facilitate a creative and developmentally appropriate curriculum;
- Enable participants to develop interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with fellow colleagues, parents and other professionals in the community;
- Help participants design, implement and evaluate learning environments and activities, based on the Pre-school education curriculum framework/goals and desired outcomes set out by the MCYS and MOE.

Certificate in English Proficiency This CERTIFICATE IN ENGLISH PROFICIENCY course is designed to train foreign students to attain various levels of competency and confidence in the use of English Language. Objective: This programme aims to develop your accuracy, facility and fluency in the appropriate use of English. It is a pre-requisite to any of our undergraduate degree programmes if you have not satisfied the English language requirement. Key Features: • Small group learning • Both international and local English materials will be used throughout the course of study • Use of interesting presentations and interactive activities in teaching • Strong students’ involvement in presentations, drills, pair and group works • Interactive technology and resources to support learning • Taught by EFL qualified and experienced teachers

| IELTS Exam Preparatory | This rigorous IELTS Exam Preparatory Course is especially designed to prepare English competent students to be equipped for IELTS test. Upon completion of the course, students will: - gain a solid grounding in the key exam techniques and skills needed for IELTS Test success;
- be familarized with the IELTS test format and its component;
- be prepared to confidently sit for IELTS;
- increase their English language proficiency to meet the demands of academic reading and writing.
